| Over
five hundred Veterans and their wives gathered to witness the dedication
ceremony at the site of the Monument on Memorial Drive adjacent to the
entrance to Arlington National Cemetery on Veterans Day, November 11,
1991. It was a cold and overcast day which threatened rain, but the
spirits were high in anticipation of the important ceremonies, which
honored their dedicated and valorous service in armored ground combat in
past wars. |
